 Kortnei LeAnn Johnson has one brother, Kevin Wynne, and one sister Krystal Johnson.

She is one of the most decorated sprinters in the state of Texas in her Class of 2015. She arrived in Baton Rouge as a seven-time state sprint champion during her prep career at Italy High School … Went out with a bang at the 2015 University Interscholastic League Class 2A Outdoor State Track & Field Championships when she ran career-best wind-aided times of 11.26 (+4.1) in the 100-meter dash and 23.39 (+4.0) in the 200-meter dash in the state finals … Posted two of the fastest times by a high school sprinter in the United States under all conditions for the 2015 outdoor season … Also crowned the 100-meter champion at the prestigious Texas Relays (11.63w), Texas Meet of Champions (11.77) and Texas Amateur Athletics Federation Games of Texas (11.84) during her senior season in 2015.

Ran the second leg on the women’s 4×100 meter relay that placed second at the NCAA Championships with a time of 42.29 … won SEC title as the second leg of the women’s 4×100 meter relay that claimed gold with a time of 42.93 … helped the 4×100 meter relay secure gold at the Louisiana Classics (43.84).
